Abosey Okai R/C & JHS has officially joined the prestigious Perfect Series Basic Schools Assessment Contest, adding to the growing list of schools competing for academic excellence.
The school held its audition on Monday, March 3, 2025, at its premises, marking its first participation in the renowned competition.
In an interview with Lawson News, the headmaster, Mr. Francis Victor Adofoli, emphasized the school’s commitment to academic excellence and moral discipline as a Catholic institution.
He noted that participating in such competitions enhances their teaching efficiency.
According to Mr. Adofoli, the outstanding performance of Salvation Army Basic School in the maiden edition motivated them to enter the contest.
“We are one of the best schools in the sub-metro, and we see this as an opportunity to showcase our abilities. We aim to emerge victorious, bringing home the trophy and all the prizes that come with it,” he confidently stated.
Mrs. Emelia Sarfo, Human Resource Manager at the Ablekuma Central Education Directorate, commended Pastor Philip Sarpong and his team for organizing the competition, describing it as an initiative that fosters independent learning and enhances students’ ability to tackle standardized tests.
Teachers at Abosey Okai RC JHS expressed their confidence in their students, stating, “We believe in our learners, and we are sure they will make us proud by bringing the trophy home.”
