The Chairman of the Operation Recover All Loot (ORAL) Committee, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, has revealed that the committee is in the final stages of preparing its report for President John Dramani Mahama.
According to Ablakwa, the committee has received more than 700 petitions from the public, highlighting allegations of misconduct and corruption.
These are currently under review to ensure thoroughness and accuracy.
The North Tongu MP emphasized that the committee’s mission is to uphold accountability and deter malpractices in government.
“This process has been daunting, but there is strong political will. We remain committed to demonstrating the same passion for transparency that we championed in opposition. This initiative sends a clear message that corruption will not be tolerated, regardless of political alignment,” he stated.
The committee is also conducting validation sessions nationwide to verify the information gathered, with plans to extend its efforts beyond the capital in the coming days. Ablakwa assured that the report would be finalized and submitted within weeks, marking a significant step toward enhanced governance and accountability.
