Minister for Defence, Dr. Edward Omane Boamah, has emphasized that President John Dramani Mahama is committed to bringing about significant, lasting transformation during his current tenure.

In a Facebook post on Monday, April 28, Dr. Boamah expressed full confidence in President Mahama’s vision to build a resilient and impactful legacy for Ghana.

This week, Dr. Boamah highlighted two key initiatives that President Mahama will launch to empower Ghana’s youth and support the small business sector.

“On Monday, 28th April 2025, President John Dramani Mahama will launch Adwumawura, a programme aimed at benefiting 10,000 young entrepreneurs. Additionally, on Wednesday, 30th April 2025, the National Apprenticeship Programme (NAP) will be launched to provide artisanal skills training for tens of thousands of youth,” he wrote.

The Adwumawura initiative is designed to offer vital support for young business owners, helping them grow their ventures and contribute significantly to the economy.

Meanwhile, the National Apprenticeship Programme (NAP) will provide youth with valuable skills training in various trades, fostering self-sufficiency and enhancing employability.
