Bernard Antwi Boasiako, known as Chairman Wontumi, the Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), is confident the party will triumph in the upcoming December elections.
Speaking at Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia’s campaign rally in Bosome Freho on Saturday, Wontumi proclaimed, “We are winning the December elections on the first round, no rerun needed. Victory will be ours on December 7th!”
His statement reflects the NPP’s intensified efforts as they rally support for Dr. Bawumia, who he believes will become Ghana’s next president. Dr. Bawumia, during his visit to the Asante Akim Central constituency, reiterated the importance of the Free SHS policy, aimed at providing educational opportunities to underprivileged students.
At Bosome Freho, Dr. Bawumia assured the community that fixing the region’s poor road infrastructure would be a priority if he’s elected, urging voters to trust him with the mandate.
