Deputy Minister-designate for Trade, Agribusiness, and Industry, Sampson Ahi, has refuted claims that the Akufo-Addo-led administration constructed tarred roads in the Bodi District during its eight years in power.

His remarks counter assertions made by Okaikwei Central MP, Patrick Boamah, who credited the NPP government with road development in the area.

“A big false! You [NPP government] didn’t even add one inch of tarred road in eight years in Bodi District,” Ahi declared emphatically.

Speaking before Parliament’s Appointments Committee on Monday, February 24, he challenged his critics to provide evidence, stating that he would retract his claim if proven wrong.
