A devastating accident has occurred at Nkawkaw Atibie Amanfrom New Road, opposite Emmanuel Oboy School in the Kwahu West Municipality of the Eastern Region.
Reports reaching Lawson News confirm that one person is feared dead, while several others sustained severe injuries.
According to Nkawkaw Municipal Fire Commander, DOII Samuel Mante, the incident happened around 5:30 AM when a fully loaded Sprinter bus crashed into a stationary articulator truck.
Emergency responders quickly arrived at the scene to assist the victims.
DOII Mante urged drivers to exercise caution on the roads, emphasizing the dangers of speeding and reckless overtaking to prevent similar tragedies.
