The Nigerian Air Force carried out successful airstrikes in northeastern Nigeria, killing at least 30 Boko Haram militants.
The strikes, which targeted key terrorist leaders, occurred late Tuesday night in the Degbewa and Chikide regions of Borno state.
This operation follows a deadly attack by the Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP) that claimed the lives of 22 Nigerian soldiers.
Since the start of the year, the Nigerian military has neutralized over 100 terrorists as part of its ongoing campaign against insurgent groups in the region.
This recent action underscores the continued determination of the Nigerian forces in combating the growing threat of Boko Haram and similar extremist groups.
