The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has revealed a detailed programme of events in anticipation of the upcoming presidential inauguration on January 7, 2025.
The series of activities will celebrate the peaceful transfer of power and highlight the accomplishments of the outgoing administration.
Kicking off the festivities, the NDC will host a national thanksgiving service on January 4 at a prominent church in Accra. This will be followed by rallies and public engagements across the country to promote national unity and pride in the electoral process.
On January 6, the party will hold a special reception for dignitaries and members at its headquarters, offering supporters a chance to celebrate their candidate, John Dramani Mahama’s victory.
The grand inauguration ceremony on January 7 at Independence Square will feature a military parade, cultural performances, and speeches from key party leaders, with international dignitaries and observers in attendance.
