Chief priestess turned evangelist, Patricia Asiedua Asiamah—widely known as Nana Agradaa—has been convicted by the Circuit Court in Accra for engaging in deceptive advertisement and defrauding by false pretence.
The conviction arises from a televised advertisement aired in 2022, where she falsely claimed the ability to double money for members of the public.
This led many individuals to hand over significant amounts of money under false pretences.
Details on her sentencing and further court orders are anticipated soon.
Notably, in accordance with sentencing procedures, Nana Agradaa has been taken to the hospital for a pregnancy test before the judge delivers her sentence.
