  • PV Jantuah criticizes the government for focusing on naming budgets
  • He said Mahama has acknowledged his mistakes
  • PV Jantuah contends that Ghanaians cannot trust Bawumia to lead

Former presidential staffer PV Jantuah Dadson has taken a strong stance against President Akufo-Addo, claiming that the government’s achievements amount to little more than a series of naming ceremonies.

“What Akufo-Addo, Ken Ofor-Atta, and Bawumia have done is just naming ceremonies like Oyerepa budget, Asempa budget, Asew budget, and ‘m3ko me kurom’ budget. If naming ceremonies led to wealth, Ghana would be thriving by now,” PV Jantuah asserted.

Speaking an interview with Kwame Tanko on ‘Ghana Se Sen’ at Lawson TV/Radio, PV Jantuah criticized the Akufo-Addo administration for mismanaging the economy through reckless borrowing.

He dismissed NPP Flagbearer Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia’s campaign messages as deceptive, stating that Bawumia is not a trustworthy leader.

Jantuah emphasized that former President John Mahama offers a sincere leadership approach, promising to rectify past mistakes if elected again.

“An academician who cannot own up to his actions and inactions cannot be trusted; that’s why Mahama has said he is coming back with his NDC to right the wrongs. He has accepted the mandate Ghanaians gave him, acknowledging that he didn’t do well in some areas and has accepted his mistakes,” he said.

He stated that Mahama has demonstrated sincerity and accountability, in contrast to Bawumia, who claims credit for successes while avoiding responsibility for failures.

PV Jantuah noted that the current government frequently cites the COVID-19 pandemic as a reason for halted development projects, yet has failed to account for the funds allocated during that crisis.
