MTN Ghana Donates GHC 10,000 And Essentials To Ashanti Regional Chief Imam Ahead of Eid-ul-Fitr

MTN Ghana has made a generous donation to the Ashanti Regional Chief Imam ahead of the Eid-ul-Fitr celebration in Kumasi.
The donation includes essential items and a wired amount of GHC 10,000.
The donated items comprise:
– Food and Beverages:
– Bags of rice
– Boxes of cooking oil
– Cartons of bottled water
– Cartons of soft drinks
The Senior Manager, General Trade, MTN Northern Ghana, Mr. Simon Amoh, presented the items on behalf of MTN Ghana.
During the presentation, Mr. Amoh stated that MTN, as an African company, identifies with every belief and values the importance of community support.
He added that the donation was an annual ritual to support Muslims during the Holy month of Ramadan.
Mr. Amoh also used the occasion to express the condolences of MTN Ghana to the Muslim community in the Ashanti Region on the passing of the late Regional Chief Imam last year.
The donations were received by Ustaz Ahmed Seidu, Executive Secretary at the Office of the Ashanti Regional Chief Imam, at the Kumasi Central Mosque. Ustaz Ahmed Seidu expressed his gratitude to MTN Ghana, stating that the company has consistently demonstrated its friendship and support to Muslim communities across the country.
This donation is part of MTN Ghana’s efforts to support Muslim communities during the Eid-ul-Fitr celebration.
The company has a history of providing aid and support to various communities in Ghana, and this donation is a testament to its commitment to giving back.
Similar donations have been made to other Regional Chief Imams, including the National Chief Imam, who received a donation of GHC 20,000 and food items.
