Golden Kick CEO Joseph Epton is confident his team will emerge victorious against Asante Kotoko in the upcoming MTN FA Cup final.
The Division One League side will take on the Ghana Premier League giants at the University of Ghana Stadium on Sunday, June 14, aiming to cap off their remarkable cup run with a historic win.
Golden Kick has already defied the odds, knocking out top-tier teams Hearts of Oak and Karela United on their journey to the final.
Despite acknowledging the challenge Kotoko presents, Epton is optimistic about his side’s chances.
“Kotoko are going to be a tough opponent, but over 90 minutes, we will beat them,” he said in an interview..
“We respect them, but we’re confident we can win. Everyone starts somewhere. In life, you learn to walk before you run—Golden Kick is taking that journey too.”
The Accra-based club is hoping to pull off another upset against a Kotoko side managed by Karim Zito, who are eager to return to continental competition after falling short in the league.
