A devastating fire has completely destroyed a four-bedroom house, known as Nana Badu Fie, at Asuofua Old Town in the Atwima Nwabiagya North District.
According to the landlady, Nana Badu, she was asleep when she suddenly heard frantic screams from people outside. Upon waking up, she realized that the fire was already out of control.
Speaking to Lawson News, she lamented that nothing could be salvaged from any of the four rooms, as the fire service was unable to access the location in time.
“I was rolling on the ground, and if not for the help of some people, I would have been burnt alive,” she recounted.
The distressed landlady has appealed to the government for urgent support in her time of need.
