President John Dramani Mahama will begin a nationwide “Thank You Tour” on Friday, January 24, with the first stop in the Volta Region, the Presidency has confirmed.
This tour is a gesture of gratitude from President Mahama to Ghanaians for their overwhelming support during the 2024 elections.
The event in Volta will include a grand durbar with chiefs, queen mothers, opinion leaders, religious leaders, labor union representatives, and key figures from the informal sector.
The tour aims to reinforce the connection between the President and the people while celebrating their contributions to the country’s progress.
In a statement issued on January 22 by the President’s Spokesperson, Felix Kwakye Ofosu, the Presidency called on Ghanaians to join in the celebration and reflect on the collective achievements made possible through their support.
