On the occasion of Mother’s Day, President John Dramani Mahama extended warm wishes to mothers across Ghana, singling out his running mate, Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang, for special recognition.

In a Facebook post on Sunday, May 11, Mahama revealed that he had visited Professor Opoku-Agyemang earlier in the day, describing the moment as touching and significant.

“A heartfelt Mother’s Day greeting to my Vice President, Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang, whom I had the pleasure of visiting this morning,” he wrote.

The President noted that Professor Opoku-Agyemang is currently recovering from a recent illness and is on a well-deserved break, but is expected to resume her responsibilities soon.

Mahama concluded his message by wishing a Happy Mother’s Day to all mothers in Ghana.
