John Dramani Mahama, the flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has criticized the New Patriotic Party (NPP) for what he termed poor governance, which he believes has led to Ghana’s worsening economic conditions.
Speaking at a mini-rally in Kyebi, in the Abuakwa South Constituency, during his five-day tour on November 18, Mahama attributed the current economic hardships to the NPP’s mismanagement over their eight years in power.
“Ghanaians have felt the brunt of misplaced priorities and ineffective leadership,” he stated, urging residents to reject the ruling party’s promises.
He highlighted how everyday expenses, like food, have skyrocketed, making life under the NPP tougher compared to his tenure.
“The NPP’s governance has been marked by setbacks. It’s time for leadership that prioritizes the well-being of Ghanaians,” Mahama emphasized.
