In line with the Presidential (Transition) Act, 2012 (Act 845), these members officially ceased to hold office on January 7, 2025, with the swearing-in of President John Dramani Mahama.
A notice, dated January 13, 2025, was sent to all affected individuals, clarifying that the cessation of their appointments does not apply to commissions that are constitutionally independent.
