Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the Presidential Candidate for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has boldly declared that the NPP government has outshone the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in every sector, even amid global crises like the COVID-19 pandemic and the Russia-Ukraine conflict.
During a community engagement in Akrofuom, Ashanti Region, on November 12, Bawumia emphasized, “Despite global challenges, the NPP has outperformed the NDC across all areas, including job creation, infrastructure, and economic development.”
He highlighted achievements such as expanded road networks, railways, airports, schools, and sanitation facilities, as well as significant improvements in agriculture, industry, and Zongo development.
He further challenged former President John Dramani Mahama to name any infrastructure project from his tenure that benefited the country, accusing him of failing to do so.
Bawumia also took a jab at Mahama, recalling his challenge for a debate, which Mahama avoided.
“He ran away like a chicken he’s scared,” Bawumia remarked.
