Let’s Be Honest to Attract God’s Blessings in 2025—Rev. Ransford Obeng of CCC Advises

Rev. Ransford Obeng urges Ghanaians to embrace honesty, work hard, and support the new government for national progress.

Story Highlights
  • Reverend Obeng urges Ghanaians to embrace honesty in all actions to promote national prosperity
  • Corruption, seen across all sectors, must be rejected for Ghana to reach its full potential
  • Public support through prayer, hard work, and good attitudes is essential for the success of the incoming government

The General Overseer of Calvary Charismatic Center (CCC), Reverend Ransford Obeng, has admonished Ghanaians to enter the new year with an attitude of honesty in all their actions.

He stated that this would enable people to treat themselves well and move the country forward with unbridled honesty.

Speaking to the media at Ayigya on Tuesday night after the church’s first service, which marked the climax of 2024 and ushered in the new year of 2025, Reverend Obeng explained that one of the key factors hindering the prosperity of nations is dishonesty.

“As we enter the new year, all I am asking Ghanaians is to deal honestly with themselves, so that no one is shortchanged in what they deserve or have worked for,” the CCC General Overseer stated.

Corruption:

Reverend Obeng noted that corruption has become endemic in Ghanaian society. This attitude, he pointed out, is demonstrated by pastors, politicians, and people in both public offices and private sectors.

Behaviors such as bribery, extortion, under-invoicing, petty theft, and dishonesty are depriving the country of the progress it deserves, he lamented.

“Most people think only politicians are corrupt, but pastors and some individuals in authority, especially in public and private sectors, deceive, steal, and extort from others. The sooner we reject these attitudes, the faster Ghana can grow into the country we all desire to see,” the CCC leader advised.

Support for the New Government:

Reverend Obeng urged the public to support the incoming NDC government through prayer, hard work, and positive attitudes to ensure its success. He also encouraged the population to be diligent and hardworking in their endeavors, adding that God only blesses the work people do to help them thrive in life.

Prophecy:

The CCC leader cautioned the clergy to stick to the mandate of their calling by proclaiming only the good news of Christ Jesus, rather than involving themselves in political prophecies that mislead people’s hearts.

“Our mandate as men of God is clear: we are to consciously and intentionally preach Christ Jesus to our congregation and to the population, because it is only by accepting Jesus as our Savior that we can live fulfilled lives,” Reverend Obeng emphasized.
