Kennedy Agyapong is Greedy, Evil, and Undeserving of ‘Honourable’ Title” – Abronye DC Fires Back

The Bono Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Kwame Baffoe—popularly known as Abronye DC—has launched a scathing attack on former NPP presidential hopeful, Kennedy Agyapong, labelling him as “selfish,” “greedy,” and “dishonourable.”
Speaking during a television interview on May 2, 2025, Abronye accused Agyapong of constantly touting his contributions to the NPP while conveniently ignoring the personal benefits he has gained from the party over the years.
“We are tired of Kennedy Agyapong,” Abronye said bluntly. “Every time he falls out with someone, he claims he supported them. He did it with Naa Torshie, Adomako Baafi, and even the late Chairman Kutin simply because Kutin didn’t support his presidential bid. That’s his pattern.”
Abronye further alleged that Agyapong had clashed with key party figures like Hawa Koomson, whom he described as a “poor teacher” until, according to him, he lobbied President Akufo-Addo for her appointment. “By saying that, he implies the president didn’t even know what he was doing,” Abronye added.
“He goes around saying he has fed the entire NPP and funded the party more than anyone else, but when has he ever admitted the advantages he’s also enjoyed from the party?” he questioned.
Abronye did not mince words as he concluded: “That’s the mark of a truly greedy and self-centred man. Kennedy Agyapong does not deserve to be called ‘Honourable.’ There is nothing honourable about his actions.”
This verbal tirade follows a heated confrontation between the two during the NPP’s Thank You Tour in the Bono Region, where tensions between them flared up in public.
