A 23-year-old woman collapsed and died while dancing at her sister’s wedding in Madhya Pradesh’s Vidisha, officials confirmed on Sunday.
Parinita Jain, an Indore resident and MBA graduate, had traveled to Vidisha to celebrate the joyous occasion. The incident unfolded as she danced to a Bollywood song on stage in front of over 200 guests. Suddenly, she collapsed, leaving the gathering in shock.
Despite immediate attempts to revive her with CPR, including efforts by doctors in the family, Parinita showed no response. She was rushed to a nearby hospital, where doctors declared her dead on arrival.
According to reports, this tragedy mirrors a family history of heart conditions, as Parinita’s younger brother had also succumbed to a heart attack at just 12 years old.
The incident has sparked conversations online, as videos from the event circulate on social media. It also highlights a disturbing trend of individuals collapsing at social gatherings, with similar cases reported last year.
