President John Dramani Mahama has appointed Jones Borteye Applerh, former Executive Secretary of the Small Arms Commission, as the Acting Chief Executive Officer of GIHOC Distilleries.

This appointment is subject to the constitutionally required advice of the Governing Board, given in consultation with the Public Services Commission.

Mr. Applerh’s appointment takes effect immediately, starting January 21, 2025.

In a statement issued by Dr. Callistus Mahma, Executive Secretary to the President, President Mahama extended his congratulations to Mr. Applerh.
