Iran Warns of 'Decisive Response' to Israeli Retaliation Following Missile Attack

Iran has issued a warning of a “decisive and regretful” response if Israel retaliates for a recent missile attack.
During a phone call on Tuesday with UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi stated that while Iran strives to maintain peace and security in the region, it is fully prepared to respond forcefully to any Israeli provocations.
Araghchi also called on the United Nations to leverage its resources to halt what he described as the “crimes and aggressions” of the Israeli regime and to facilitate humanitarian aid to Lebanon and Gaza.
In response to the Iranian strikes, Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant previously warned that Israel’s retaliation would be “deadly, precise, and surprising.”
