A devastating fire has destroyed a two-storey, 20-bedroom apartment in the Upper Denkyira West District of the Central Region, leaving behind significant losses.
The Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) responded swiftly, managing to salvage eight bedrooms. However, the remaining 12 rooms and their contents were completely consumed by the blaze.
According to the District Fire Command, their tactical efforts prevented the fire from engulfing the entire structure.
Authorities are currently investigating the cause of the fire and have urged residents to prioritize fire safety, especially during the dry season when such incidents are more frequent.
