The Presidency of Ghana has announced that Prime Minister Narendra Modi of India will embark on a significant two-day official visit to Ghana from Wednesday, July 2 to Thursday, July 3, 2025.

Hosted by President John Dramani Mahama, this visit marks the first official trip by an Indian Prime Minister to Ghana in recent years, highlighting the strengthening strategic partnership between the two nations.

Presidential Spokesperson Felix Kwakye Ofosu stated that the visit reflects the warm, enduring ties between Ghana and India.

Both leaders are set to explore ways to deepen cooperation across multiple sectors including trade, investment, agriculture, education, technology, healthcare, and energy.

Key highlights of the visit include:

  • A bilateral meeting at the Jubilee House between PM Modi and President Mahama.

  • High-level talks addressing economic and developmental collaboration.
