Kofi Adu, popularly known as Agya Koo, has addressed rumors about a supposed feud with fellow actor Kwadwo Nkansah, aka Lil Win.
Speaking on the Lawson TV/Radio Ghana “Se Sen” morning show with Kwame Tanko, Agya Koo clarified that there is no animosity between him and Lil Win.
He shared that during a movie shoot, producer K. Bentum introduced Lil Win to him, mentioning that they wanted him to play a comedic role in the film. Agya Koo, excited to collaborate, welcomed Lil Win’s involvement, emphasizing their shared goal to outshine Nigerian actors.
Agya Koo likened their professional rivalry to that of legendary figures like Daddy Lumba and Nana Achempong or Tony Yeboah and Abedi Pele, asserting that it’s all in good competition.
He further noted that neither he nor Lil Win have ever spoken ill of each other, despite what rumors may suggest.
He concluded by acknowledging that falsehoods often spread about public figures, but there’s no ill will between them.
