Bawumia Campaign Director Accuses Polling Firm of Bias and Manipulation Ahead of 2024 Elections
- Bawumia’s campaign claims Global InfoAnalytics is skewing polls in favor of Mahama
- Dennis Miracles Aboagye dismisses the poll findings as unrealistic and manipulative
- The Bawumia campaign asserts that the projections do not reflect the true political landscape
Dennis Miracles Aboagye, Director of Communications for the Bawumia Campaign Team, has fiercely criticised Global InfoAnalytics over its election projections, accusing the firm of bias toward NDC flagbearer John Dramani Mahama.
Miracles Aboagye’s remarks come after the firm forecasted Mahama would secure 52.2% of the vote in the 2024 general elections, ahead of Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia’s 41.4%.
Speaking in an interview on November 29, 2024, he dismissed the projections as unrealistic and claimed they misrepresented the electorate’s true sentiment. He argued that such polls were skewed and lacked credibility.
According to the Bawumia campaign, these projections do not accurately depict the political landscape, with Bawumia remaining a strong contender for the presidency.
Miracles Aboagye questioned the authenticity of the polls, pointing out that only Mussa Dankwah’s polls predict such an overwhelming win for Mahama, which he deemed implausible.
He further accused Dankwah of having no credibility, calling his polls biased and akin to “lotto doctor” predictions.
