Hon. Fuseini Donkor, former District Chief Executive for Sekyere Afram Plains, has strongly criticized the current New Patriotic Party (NPP) government.

Hon. Fuseini stated that Ghanaians are demanding a change in government.

Speaking on Lawson TV/Radio’s ‘Ghana Se Sen’ program with Kwame Tanko, he expressed that the Akufo-Addo-Bawumia administration has not only let Ghanaians down but has failed miserably in addressing the nation’s challenges.

Hon. Donkor lamented the escalating hardships, suggesting that if the NPP is not voted out, Ghanaians may soon find themselves in such dire straits that they would resort to selling their children just to survive.

He described the situation as “really terrible” for many citizens.

He accused a small group from Kyebi of seeking wealth at the expense of the wider population, emphasizing that business owners in Kumasi are struggling and that the current government has neglected the needs of the Ashanti people.

While he acknowledged the benefits of the free Senior High School policy, he pointed out that students often go without food.

Hon. Donkor also highlighted that NPP officials have dismissed the National Democratic Congress (NDC) as an alternative, fearing accountability for those implicated in corruption during the Mahama administration.

“NPP members have consistently claimed that the NDC is not a viable alternative because they know the Mahama administration would hold accountable those appointees who have allegedly stolen from the state.”
