Joyce Bawa Mogtari, an aide to President-elect John Mahama, has called on Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) flagbearer in the 2024 elections, to acknowledge his loss and engage in self-reflection.
In response to Bawumia’s reasoning for conceding defeat prior to the official announcement from the Electoral Commission, Bawa Mogtari pointed out that the only option left for him in the face of a decisive defeat was to accept reality.
She emphasized that accepting his loss would allow Bawumia to reflect deeply on the situation.
