First-time participants from Aputuogya set their sights on victory in the prestigious basic schools assessment competition

Hariel Community School has officially joined the Perfect Series Basic Schools Assessment Contest (PSBSAC) for the first time, marking a significant milestone for the institution.

Located at Aputuogya, within the Bosomtwe Constituency of the Ashanti Region, the school held its audition on Monday, March 24, 2025, in a lively and colorful atmosphere on its premises.

Miss Asante Sarah, the Headmistress, shared with Lawson News that their decision to participate was inspired by the confidence and achievements of learners from other schools in the maiden edition.

“Our learners are brilliant, but we want to challenge them further by competing with other schools,” she said.

She proudly highlighted that Hariel Community School stands out due to its consistent use of the Perfect Series textbooks for the past four to five years, which she believes gives them an edge.

“We are not just here to participate; we are here to win the crown,” she declared.

Teachers expressed confidence in their learners, emphasizing that their training, based on the Perfect Series textbooks, has prepared them well for the contest. They expect their students to return with the trophy and gain valuable exposure through the competition.

Some learners described the examination as enjoyable, while others admitted that certain questions were challenging.

However, they remained optimistic about their performance.

Hariel Community School’s debut in the PSBSAC promises to be an exciting journey as they aim for excellence in the competition.
