FA Cup Quarter-Final Draw: Bournemouth to Host Man City, Preston vs. Villa
City to Face Bournemouth

- Bournemouth will face Manchester City at home in the FA Cup quarter-finals
- The draw also features a London derby between Fulham and Crystal Palace
- The quarter-final matches are scheduled for the weekend of Saturday, March 29th.
Bournemouth will face Manchester City at home in the FA Cup quarter-finals, while Preston North End, the sole remaining Championship team, will host Aston Villa.
The draw also features a London derby between Fulham and Crystal Palace, and Brighton will play the winner of the Nottingham Forest vs. Ipswich Town fifth-round match.
With Manchester City being the only former FA Cup winners (2023) still in the competition, and Ipswich Town the next most recent winner (1978), the draw presents a significant opportunity for the remaining clubs, including Fulham, Crystal Palace, Bournemouth, and Brighton, all of whom have yet to lift the trophy.
“It’s very open now. What a chance for a team to go and win it,” commented former Manchester City and Aston Villa defender Micah Richards. “All the [other] big teams are out. Manchester City are obviously the strongest team left in there. This is what we wanted, teams to get a chance.”
The quarter-final matches are scheduled for the weekend of Saturday, March 29th.
