Bono East: Woman in Her 20s Allegedly Shot Dead by Boyfriend at Yeji
Victim was rushed to Yeji hospital after being shot in the arm, but died shortly after arrival.

A heartbreaking incident has rocked the community of Seker in the Pru East District of the Bono East Region, where a young woman in her early 20s was allegedly shot and killed by her boyfriend.
The fatal shooting occurred on June 10 at around 3:00 p.m., during a visit the victim made with her supposed boyfriend and his two friends to the village.
The victim sustained a gunshot wound to her left arm. Police intercepted a vehicle believed to be fleeing the scene and rushed her to St. Martin’s Hospital in Yeji. Unfortunately, she succumbed to her injuries shortly after arriving.
The alleged shooter, 31-year-old Hayford Boateng—identified as the victim’s boyfriend—has been arrested.
His companions, Kojo Emmanuel, 28, and Michael Kabutey, 34, who were present at the time of the incident, have also been detained by Yeji police to assist with the ongoing investigation.
Authorities are currently working to uncover the full circumstances surrounding the tragedy.
