In his goodwill statement issued Tuesday, the Minister commended the students for their commitment and perseverance, calling the BECE “a major milestone” in their educational journey.

“You’ve prepared diligently for this moment—now is your time to shine,” he stated.

He advised candidates to stay calm, remain focused, and uphold integrity during the exams. He also warned against engaging in any form of malpractice, emphasizing that the BECE isn’t just about academic recall but also a measure of character, growth, and potential.

“To our dear students, the entire nation is rooting for you. We see you as tomorrow’s leaders, innovators, and changemakers,” the Minister affirmed.

He also acknowledged the essential role of parents and teachers in supporting the students throughout their basic education.

“May you be blessed with clear minds, good health, and outstanding results. I eagerly await the celebration of your success,” his message concluded.

This year’s examination sees a record 603,328 students nationwide participating—one of the largest cohorts in recent history.
