Asante Kotoko has strongly denounced the escalating violence in Ghanaian football following the heartbreaking death of a dedicated supporter, Polley.
The passionate fan succumbed to multiple stab wounds sustained in a brutal altercation after Kotoko’s Ghana Premier League clash against Nsoatreman FC on Sunday, February 2, 2025.
In an official statement, the club revealed that media personnel and supporters who traveled from Kumasi to back the team were ambushed after the match at Nana Konamansah Park.
Sadly, Polley, who suffered severe injuries during the attack, passed away while receiving medical care at the hospital.
