Kwame Asare Obeng, widely known as A Plus, has pledged his enduring support for the National Democratic Congress (NDC), emphasizing that his commitment to the party is long-term.
In a recent interview on May 4, the outspoken public figure and Member of Parliament for Gomoa Central made it clear that he has no intention of switching political sides any time soon.
“I’m with the NDC. I don’t carry over other people’s enemies. Right now, I’m enjoying my place with the majority, and I see myself remaining here for a long time,” he said.
Responding to criticisms questioning the authenticity of his loyalty due to the absence of a party card, A Plus maintained that his dedication to the NDC isn’t about paperwork, but about principle and alignment.
“They’ll say I don’t have a party card, but I’m firmly with the majority,” he emphasized.
A Plus also praised the NDC’s leadership, particularly highlighting President John Dramani Mahama, whom he described as a visionary with the country’s best interests at heart.
“I think the NDC has an outstanding leader in Mahama. He’s a great guy with genuine intentions for Ghana,” he concluded.
