The Public Utilities Workers Union (PUWU), affiliated with the Trades Union Congress (TUC-Ghana), has voiced strong opposition to the government’s plan to privatize the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG).
In a statement, PUWU revealed that the Minister of Energy has set up a committee to push forward the privatization process.
