Felix Gyamfi has officially been appointed as the Acting Director-General of the National Service Authority, effective from January 22, 2025.

This decision was communicated through an official letter signed by Callistus Mahama, the Secretary to President John Dramani Mahama. The appointment aligns with Article 195(1) of the Constitution and the National Service Authority Act, 2024 (Act 1119).

The letter further specifies that the appointment is subject to the necessary advisory process from the governing Board of the Authority, in consultation with the Public Services Commission. Mr. Gyamfi has been given 14 days to confirm his acceptance of the role.

The National Service Authority plays a key role in equipping Ghanaian youth for national development and the workforce, offering valuable service opportunities for personal and professional growth.
