Parliament has officially approved three ministerial nominees Haruna Iddrisu as Minister-designate for Education, Kwame Governs Agbodza as Minister-designate for Roads and Highways, and Eric Opoku as Minister-designate for Food and Agriculture.

The Appointments Committee conducted a comprehensive vetting process, scrutinizing their qualifications, experience, and plans for their respective portfolios.

After rigorous evaluation, the committee unanimously endorsed their appointments.

During a plenary session chaired by Second Deputy Speaker Andrew Asiamah, Parliament engaged in detailed discussions on the nominees’ capabilities and strategies to address critical national challenges.

Following the deliberations, all three candidates were confirmed by vote.

With Parliament’s endorsement, Haruna Iddrisu, Kwame Governs Agbodza, and Eric Opoku are set to take on their ministerial responsibilities, driving forward the nation’s development agenda.
