Mrs. Grace Nana Ama Oparah, also known as Ohemaa Kwartemaa, the founder of the Ohemaa Kwartemaa Foundation and a Ghanaian-based entrepreneur in the United States, has donated exercise books and mathematical sets worth GH₵5,000 to final-year female students at three schools in the Atwima Kwanwoma District of the Ashanti Region.

The beneficiary schools are Ampabame No. 2 D/A JHS ‘A’ and ‘B’, as well as Darko M/A JHS.

During the presentation, Ohemaa Kwartemaa, also known as Mad Grace Adu, shared her personal story.

She explained that despite being born in a small village, her focus on education allowed her to build a successful career in the USA.

She encouraged the female students to remain focused, work hard, and concentrate on their studies.

She also advised them to abstain from early sexual activity and avoid bad influences that could lead them down immoral paths.

On behalf of the students, Miss Akua Agyeiwaa Adubofour, the Girls Prefect at Ampabame No. 2 D/A JHS, expressed her gratitude to the Ohemaa Kwartemaa Foundation for the generous donation.

She also requested computer assistance to support their computing education.

The Headmistress of Ampabame No. 2 D/A JHS, Madam Patricia Appau, also extended her appreciation for the donation.

She made a special request for sanitary pads for the girls, highlighting that many of them miss school during their menstrual periods due to a lack of sanitary products.
