Security Reforms on the Horizon
In response to escalating tensions in Bawku, President Mahama has pledged to prioritize peace efforts.
He announced plans to appoint key security officials, including Ministers for Defence and Interior, as well as a National Security Co-ordinator, by the week’s end.
Addressing the Kusaug Traditional Area, he affirmed his administration’s resolve to stabilize the conflict-ridden region.
