Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson, Ghana’s Finance Minister-designate, has shared his vision of economic transformation during his vetting by Parliament’s Appointments Committee on January 13.
He aspires to be remembered as the minister who reduced the cost of goods and services, stabilized the economy, and created jobs. Dr. Forson emphasized that his priority is to mobilize revenue and allocate it strategically, in collaboration with the Cabinet, to drive job creation and economic stability.
“I want to be remembered as the one who helped reduce prices, stabilized the economy, and created jobs. This is my prayer, and I ask for God’s guidance to achieve it,” he affirmed.
