- The group emphasizes the need for fresh leadership to drive national development and accountability
A group of individuals claiming to be supporters of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) stormed the Bui Power Authority (BPA) premises on Saturday, January 11, 2025, calling for the immediate removal of all employees.
In a heated moment captured on video, the group voiced their frustration, asserting that with their party now in power, a complete overhaul of BPA’s personnel was long overdue.
They emphasized their desire for improved management and equal opportunities across the board, citing eight years of stagnation as the reason for their demand.
The spokesperson of the group made it clear: “We are telling everyone, from management to security, that with our government in power, they must go. For the past eight years, we’ve seen no progress. Our country should have been growing, but it’s not. We are fed up. No one, not even John Mahama, will stop us. This country belongs to all of us.”
