Appiah-Kubi Applauds Mahama for Thoughtful Ministerial Selections

Andy Appiah-Kubi, former Member of Parliament for Asante Akim North, has praised President John Mahama for his thoughtful and strategic approach in selecting ministers for key positions.

In a January 9 interview, Appiah-Kubi expressed satisfaction with Mahama’s focus on competence, integrity, and expertise in his appointments, especially for the Finance, Energy, and Attorney General’s offices.

“I’m very happy that the President has been very careful in selecting his ministers so far. And I want to commend him for prioritizing competence, integrity, and knowledge,” he remarked.

The commendation came after President Mahama nominated Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson for Finance Minister, John Abdulai Jinapor for Energy Minister, and Dominic Akuritinga Ayine for Attorney General and Minister of Justice. All three nominees previously served as deputies in the same ministries under the former NDC administration.

Appiah-Kubi lauded the nominees as highly qualified, expressing confidence that they are the best choices for their respective roles.
