President John Dramani Mahama has unveiled plans to form a National Education Reform Committee aimed at conducting an in-depth review of Ghana’s educational system.

The reform initiative will span all educational levels, from kindergarten to tertiary and technical-vocational education, to align the sector with the nation’s evolving needs.

Addressing the National Convention of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Mission Ghana in Winneba on Thursday, January 9, Mahama stressed the urgency of reforms to boost both quality and accessibility in education.

“I will establish a planning committee to commence preparations for the National Education Review Conference. This conference will examine our educational system from kindergarten to tertiary, identifying barriers to quality education at every level,” Mahama affirmed.
