Prophet Nigel Gaisie, founder of Prophetic Hill Chapel, has shared the emotional toll he endured after prophesying that John Mahama would return as President of Ghana.
Reflecting on his suffering during the Akufo-Addo administration, Prophet Gaisie revealed that the constant harassment and rejection by the NPP pushed him to the brink of suicide.
Speaking with Kwame Tanko on Lawson TV/Radio on the Ghana Se Sen Show he recalled how his life unraveled in the aftermath of his prophecy.
“I never had it easy. As a young man, dedicated to my faith, they tore me down. I lost my home, and even two judges who attended my church were pressured to stop,” he said.
The prophet criticized the past NPP government for the suffering they inflicted on both him and his church, adding, “Never should such people hold positions in Ghana’s political offices again.”
He is now calling for an apology from the NPP for the pain they caused him over the last eight years.
“We are human beings with families, not perfect, but we don’t deserve to be vilified or have our work destroyed,” Gaisie continued.
Prophet Gaisie urged John Mahama and the NDC not to attack the church, cautioning that any accusations should be addressed through proper legal channels, without repeating the mistakes of the NPP.
