Prophet Nigel Gaisie, founder of Prophetic Hill Chapel, has revealed that he fasted for an entire year to see John Mahama return to the presidency of Ghana.

Speaking with Kwame Tanko on Lawson TV/Radio on the first day after Mahama’s inauguration, Prophet Gaisie shared that 2024 was an especially challenging year for him.

He admitted feeling uneasy until December 8, when God’s message to him about Mahama’s victory became clear.

According toProphet Gaisie, he was spiritually certain that Mahama would emerge victorious, despite the difficult circumstances leading up to the election.

He explained that at 7:15 PM on December 7, 2024, he had seen a vision of Mahama’s win, which provided him with immense relief.

“I believed God, I saw it clearly and heard it clearly. Though the circumstances were unsettling, I didn’t fear spiritually, only physically. After 8 and a half years, the prophecy has been fulfilled.”

Prophet Gaisie said he is the first prophet to predict that Mahama would return and that Ghana would have its first female Vice President.

“I have dealt with a lot of presidents, but John Mahama’s humility and personality make him outstanding. He is unique. I love him. President Mahama is unique.”

On December 7, 2024, John Dramani Mahama was sworn in for his second term as president in a ceremony in Accra.

Mahama’s victory marked a political comeback as he secured a decisive win over his fiercest rival, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, in the 2024 election

Mahama’s second term marks a continuation of Ghana’s democratic tradition, despite challenges in neighboring countries.

His victory was celebrated by many, with over 20 heads of state attending the inauguration ceremony in Accra’s Independence Square, a historical site for presidential inaugurations in Ghana.
