President-elect John Dramani Mahama has reassured Ghanaians of the robustness and stability of the nation’s democracy following the recent elections.
In a Facebook post on December 11, after meeting with President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo at the Jubilee House in Accra, Mahama celebrated the success of the electoral process and emphasized the importance of bipartisan collaboration in fortifying Ghana’s democratic values.
He expressed, “Despite the uncertainties leading up to the election, Ghana has proven once again that our democracy is secure. By uniting across party lines, we can continue to strengthen and solidify our democratic foundations.”
