Sammy Awuku, Director General of the National Lottery Authority (NLA), emphasized that the upcoming 2024 general elections present a clear choice between hope and despair.
Speaking at the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) final rally at the University of Ghana Sports Park on December 5, Awuku urged Ghanaians to vote for hope and a better future.
He stressed that under the leadership of NPP’s flagbearer, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the party would deliver on key promises such as job creation, enhancing the free Senior High School (SHS) program, and securing financial stability for citizens.
Sammy Awuku emphasized the importance of choosing a future-focused government, describing the election as a decision between progress and stagnation.
He strongly urged Ghanaians to vote wisely, adding, “This election is not about false promises or shifts at nightclubs. It’s about securing your future.”
