A tragic incident at Muzarabani, Zimbabwe has left a community in shock after a man was killed by his own wife.
The victim, Jethro Mudhakwa, was assaulted by his wife, Martha Mushawemhuka, during a quarrel that escalated after they had consumed alcohol together.
Mushawemhuka struck her husband on the head with a metal object, causing severe injuries that ultimately led to his death.
Neighbors intervened to stop the attack, but it was too late to save Mudhakwa’s life. He was rushed to the hospital but succumbed to his injuries.
Police are investigating the incident and have urged the public to refrain from violence.
