President John Mahama expresses heartfelt gratitude to outgoing IGP Dr. George Akuffo Dampare, acknowledging his dedication to law enforcement and national security.

President John Dramani Mahama has lauded the outgoing Inspector General of Police (IGP), Dr. George Akuffo Dampare, for his unwavering dedication to Ghana’s security.
Speaking at the swearing-in ceremony of the new IGP, COP Christian Tetteh Yohuno, President Mahama acknowledged Dr. Dampare’s immense contributions to law enforcement and national security.
“Let me take this opportunity to extend my deepest gratitude to the outgoing IGP. He has served our nation with dedication and commitment, and his contribution to law enforcement and national security will not be forgotten,” President Mahama stated.
He praised Dr. Dampare’s relentless efforts in safeguarding citizens and strengthening the police service.
The President also extended his best wishes to the former IGP, expressing confidence in his continued success.
“We thank him for his service and wish him well in his future endeavors,” he added.
